I imagine an excuse that other lawyers might use for not coming to the policies and procedures workshop would be the cost or the time involved and that’s a completely backward way of thinking because the cost to come here is nothing compared to the cost of doing the same thing over and over again every time you hire a new staff member. You tell them the same thing again, every time that something goes wrong, that has gone wrong ever before, you’re reinventing the wheel every single time. It’s a waste of money, it’s a waste of time, do it once, do it right, write it down clearly and well and you’ll never have to do it again. By taking this time away from my family, by taking this time away from my office where I need to be sitting at my desk right now I have allowed myself to have a future with my family and a future in an office, where I’m not rushed, hurried and trying constantly to catch up
