Q: I came up here with pretty much the same question. I think one of the examples you gave was calendaring so those people understand what your vision is. Are there other tools like the calendaring that are helpful in those situations? The main question is how do you convert those people who may be on the fence to someone who is going to support you?
A: Yes, having a budget, having a business plan. Those are essential. The business plan and the budget and a cash flow projection, those are a must. You can’t change anybody. That’s not your job. You’re not here for that. You can’t make decisions based on their opinions and their life and what they’re going to think and how they’re going to feel. If you make decisions based on that then you are living for them, you are not living for you. So if they are on board and if they’re not then well they’re not.
