I joined the program in October of 2013. I checked my bank account almost daily to see if I had money to spend. I went through the twelve week program, picked up a few things on numbers there and a lot of things on practice management. That was a little terrifying because I didn’t think I was good at numbers and I didn’t think I wanted to deal with those. I can see now that was really a cop out because now I really like numbers and seeing the reports and seeing how well I’m doing. To me, when I look back, not knowing your numbers is a little bit like playing a basketball game and not keeping score. You just don’t get anywhere. Once I started keeping score the numbers really meant something and it also freed me up because I didn’t have to look at my bank account everyday.
