Q: Beliefs lead to actions, which lead to results. I’m reworking my beliefs based on the results I produce however when the results are shitty and the beliefs follow suit the next set of actions are also shitty and so are the results. What I’m saying is that I realized it’s appropriate to leave the beliefs be and to change the action that’s getting the result. My beliefs are changing because of the shitty financial situation. Someone doesn’t pay me and all of the sudden four weeks in, five weeks in six people aren’t paying me.
A: Someone didn’t pay you because of an action you took. There was an action that caused the person not to pay you so let’s start off with that because you’re jumping into the middle of the problem and thinking you’re drowning but you’re not looking at the beginning of the problem, which started when you took the actions that caused the person not to pay you in the first place. Ultimately, if I had to guess I don’t think you take full responsibility. I don’t think you take 100 percent responsibility for your life. I think you say you do and I think you would argue with me because I’m saying you don’t but if we were to dig into you don’t take 100 percent responsibility for everything in your life. I take 100 percent responsibility for everything in my life: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Every single that happens to my business, in my business, around my business I take 100 percent responsibility for that. That’s what gives me opportunity to truly enjoy my success and not have to feel apologetic for my success because I take 100 percent responsibility for all the fuck ups and the problems too. And because I take 100 percent responsibility for everything it forces me to take difficult and uncomfortable actions because I know that when the shit hits the fan I’m the one that’s going to have to clean it up not someone else.
