Q: I moved from a small suburb one mile outside of Dallas that was hugely profitable. I moved five minutes up the road into Dallas and it’s dropped to zero. Any recommendations?
A: First thing I would do is getting your citations in order. There are literally hundreds of sites that you can get citations on and that can help you from a local marketing perspective to just show up in your local search. Also, get your reputation in order. I would do pay-per-click so you can get right back into the game with greater lead volume. And then you’re probably going to have to start over with the SEO, but I’d be curious to see what’s going on with your SEO because SEO shouldn’t tank like that so quickly. There may something else going on that you’re not aware of. You might want to have an SEO firm take a look at that.
