Q: I was at the same policies and procedures workshop and I’m trying to think through why is it that I didn’t have the same success that you guys did? I know it’s my fault, but one thing you guys all have in common that I didn’t have in common is that you had somebody there with you or when you got back. You delegated the policies and procedures to somebody else. I didn’t do that I put it on my lap and it’s still sitting on my lap. What do I do to get my policies and procedures going with the knowledge that I have?
A: I hired somebody to do just my policies and procedures. She put them all together, organized them, and did the typing and formatting, all the stuff you should not be doing. That worked out to her becoming my office administrator. Hire somebody. Just do it on an hourly basis and that’ll at least get your policies and procedures farther along than what they are.
