Q: You talked a lot about testing computer systems, can you talk a little bit more about how we would test a system that’s something different like whether something arrived to the client, whether your staff checked in with them, or non-computerized systems how would we know if it happened or didn’t happen?
A: For example, somebody calls your business and they are going to go through a system that includes talking to a live person who is going to write things down. That person is then going to send them something in the mail that is not traceable. When you have one of those it is going to be time consuming to test it. You’re going to have to write down your steps on what needs to happen and then you have to figure out how to find that information. It’s the same as testing with technology but you’ll need a person to keep track of that.
