Q: A lot of you guys have made incredible jumps in revenue gross; can you point me in the direction for marketing return on invest? What has been your best marketing return? In particular, paid marketing.
A: I don’t really have that much paid advertising. I think the biggest return on investment for me was just really giving a crap about people when you talk to them, whether or not they have money because if they really want you and they really need you, they’ll get the money to hire you. If you really just sit down and ask the person, _Where are you at and where do you want to be?_ And what you can do for that person, and sincerely and genuinely care then they will hire you.
A: The key to it is a custom job. It’s always going to be custom job. You’re not going to know what’s best for you until you try a bunch of things on a small scale. Put them into a budget, track the return on investment through financial controls that we’re talking about and then figure out what works best for you.
