Lawyers tend to think they are in a noble profession and they are but that’s almost like used as an excuse for you not knowing what you’re doing in terms of delivering legal services as a business, so the big thing for me was having a model, an ability to say here are the seven parts of a business and here’s how you do a business plan, marketing, policies and procedures. It’s having that structure that for me was very helpful and just kind of adjusting my whole perception of what I was doing.
