I did the Small Business Plan Workshop in May with Mary and I want to first tell you why I did it. I did it because we just knew, before we went to the shark tank, we wanted to grow, what that growth was going to look like in terms of numbers, in terms of factory, in terms of people was unclear. The purpose was just growth, we had a three-year projection we wanted to extend it to a ten-year projection. At the shark tank I got real solid vision of what my firm will look like not three years from now, not five years from now, but ten years from now. When you’re just in the mode of growth, you don’t know what percentage of revenue you should spent on marketing, what percentage should go to labor and so forth. You’re just doing it as the problems come along but what the shark tank taught us is understanding growth is great but you have to understand specifically what numbers, percentages, metrics you need to look at and what those metrics should look like to get to the effects you desire. /Ever since the shark tank the vision has been so clear, we’ve been continuously hitting 30 clients per month and in June we took a 2-week vacation and still hit 30. And this month we’re already going to outgrow that number and most importantly I know exactly now when I need to hire again, what position I need to hire. I have a crystal ball in my hand right now because of what they did for me at the shark tank.
