In December of 2012 I had an opportunity to participate in a CLE program offered by the Maricopa County Bar Association in Phoenix, Arizona. I didn’t really know much about it but when I got there it was going to be an 8 hour CLE. I was shocked that we’d be there for 8 hours. What I learned over the next 8 hours was how disorganized I was in my business that I didn’t even know. I was completely disoriented about the way I was operating my business but most importantly I learned that the growth of my business didn’t have to be gradual, that the growth of my business was dependent on me. Obviously I chose to participate in the program because I saw a path way to realizing those things that I wanted to have in my business but it all started by being in the CLE program so I would encourage any CLE director who might be watching this to invite RJon out to speak because what you’re doing when you do that is you’re making a contribution to the community of lawyers in your community.
