I just graduated from the How to Start a Successful Law Firm program and a year ago I was buried in a lot of decisions, I was spending a lot of money figuring out which kind of staff to hire. I was trying to figure out which sort of practice management would be better, how to update my electronic filing system, which sort of servers would be better to use. I was spending tons of money on the research to figure all of these things out. And at that time I was about three and half years into my firm. So now after this year I have learned a lot of these things and what I really appreciate about the program is that they have very experienced individuals, it’s not just the teaching that happens here, it’s also the association with other attorneys who have been through the same thing. We’ve been able to discuss, compare notes. The teaching has been excellent and all of the coaches have been very knowledgeable and very first hand knowledgeable about the things they are helping us with. I’m excited this year; I have a very solid plan moving forward. I’m not spending nearly as much money in making some of the more solid fundamental decisions, and those fundamentals are now matriculating my firm forward on a much more profitable path.
